        Jordi Cruyff, son of Johan, has signed for United after his father was dismissed as coach of Barcelona. Jordi who posesses great balance and close control, can play as either wing/attacking midfielder, or as a striker. He played in all four of Holland's games in the European Championships, scoring against Switzerland.

        He has played against United twice, both in the 1994 European Champions League for Barcelona, and was impressed by what he saw in the Old Trafford outfit. His first job at Old Trafford will be to break into the United side, whether it be as a winger or an attacker.
